Cynagua Fall Coronet

Friday October 27th, 2017 to Sunday October 29th, 2017
Oroville, California

Greetings Cynagua! The populace is invited to bear witness as our honorable warriors take to the List Field to determine the Heirs of Cynagua.

Please now pay heed to the words of Their Highness’ of Cynagua.

Greetings unto the Noble Populace of Cynagua. We are so grateful for the outpouring of support for the Scribal arts, with so many hidden artists coming out of hibernation, Who Knew?! We are humbled by your generosity, Thank You does not begin to express our gratitude. We look forward to seeing what you produce in the coming months, the talents and efforts have been Amazing.

As the days pass quickly, the time draws nigh, and We must choose Our Successors. The format for Coronet will be a Crucible (pooled round robin) to start. Top 8 advance with a standard single fight, double elimination format and best two out three finals. We will try our best keep the pools even as far as skill and numbers. We intend to run Coronet and the Prima Spada of Cynagua together on the same field, so we may all witness the spectacle these tournaments have to offer.

We do understand this may limit some fighters who enjoy fighting both disciplines, however, We believe it is more important to allow both of these prestigious tournaments to have center stage.

The theme for our Coronet will be SCAdian Flix. Movies like Knightrider, Excalibur, Knight's Tale, Conan, Role Models, Men in Tights and of course Monty Python, just to name a few. Dress as your favorite character or just someone who could have been in one of those movies. There will be prizes and hopefully a "red carpet" walk. We will be participating and look forward to seeing the creativity of Our populace.

We have been very fortunate to travel to many Foreign lands, where the Skill and Generosity of Our Populace were very well received and in some cases, Coveted. As We travel, We love to recognize members of the Populace for their Noble Works, Deeds and Efforts. Please send Us award recommendations so We may properly recognize those efforts.  http://heralds.westkingdom.org/AwardRecommend.htm
